6 Quick Tips for Diet Success

Here are my 6 tips that I shared at this weeks meeting. Source is unknown.
  1. Don't do it alone. It's easier to succeed with a diet buddy (or group).
  2. Forget about the big picture. Set small goals for yourself along the way and reward yourself for reaching each one.
  3. Enjoy life now. Don't wait to lose the weight to do the things you want to do.
  4. Don't give up snacks. Just choose healthy foods to snack on.
  5. Find a diet that fits your needs. Trying to fit your life into a diet that's wrong for you is a recipe for disaster.
  6. Don't starve yourself. Eating too little slows down your metabolism, so you lose less.
